Since Ryan Adams is already doing everything else, it was only a matter of time before the musician/author/painter/Norah Jones collaborator/professional video game reviewer launched (or relaunched) his own record label.
As TwentyFourBit reports, and the below video exemplifies, Adams has resurrected his Pax Americana Record Company, the label which he started while he was still signed to Lost Highway as a way to release home 4-tracked versions of songs, including California, a double 7 with 4 songs not found in his major label catalogue. However, if you remember, after these few initial releases, the label eventually went silent.
That was until until now. Adams is now taking pre-orders for Lost and Found/Go Ahead and Rain,” or what is being called Pax-Am Digital Single #1, on his online store. The single will be available beginning Friday, September 11th. Plus, if you take any stock in the video, a vinyl release of the single also may be forthcoming.
In other words, Ryan Adams is quickly becoming a mogul of all that is everything!
