After spending the summer together on the Rock the Bells Tour, Tech N9ne and Slaughterhouse have announced plans to keep the rhymes flowing through the fall. In support of the October 27th release of his new studio album, K.O.D., the rapper born Aaron Dontez Yates will launch a two month U.S. tour beginning the 1st of October, and he’ll be bringing the high-profile supergroup along for the ride.
Also included on the trek will Stevie Stone and Watts rapper Glasses Malone, as well as his Strange Music cohorts, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, and Big Scoob.
As for what you can expect? Well, at least when it comes to Tech N9ne’s set, prepare yourself for a bit of darkness. In a recent interview with Kansasn.com, the rapper noted the setup of his performance will look to convey the themes of his aforementioned new album.
“So the dark album came about and the tour is going to be in support of the dark album,” he explained. “The theme on stage is going to be pretty creepy. I don’t want to give it away but I saw the layout for the stage setup and it looked like the front of a fucking graveyard.”
