Tori Amos details holiday album, Midwinter Graces

It turns out that rumored Tori Amos Christmas album will indeed be happening. On November 10th, Universal Republic will unveil Midwinter Graces, a 12-track disc from the singer/songwriter that will feature such holiday gems as “What Child, Nowell” and “Star of Wonder” as well as original compositions.

According to Billboard, the album was recorded in Amos’s studio in Cornwall, UK with additional sessions taking place this summer in Los Angeles and New York City. Longtime collaborates Matt Chamberlain (drums), Jon Evans (bass), and Mac Aladdin (guitar) were tapped to serve as accompaniment. John Philip Shenale handled the arrangement.

In addition to the release, Amos has a busy calendar with both European and Australian tour dates currently scheduled.
