With its album This Is Thirteen having been recently released and its 2008 acclaimed documentary film, Anvil! The Story of Anvil, now available on DVD, Anvil has a few good reasons to hit the road. And that the Canadian metal outfit will do, beginning early next year, when it embarks on a five week long North American tour.
The 30-date trek, which follows a U.K. tour with Saxon and SuidAkrA and precedes an appearance at Australia’s Soundwave Festival, will be dubbed “The Anvil Experience” and will feature both a screening of the aforementioned DVD along with a performance by the trio.
