It’s been a good four month since Wilco (The Album) first hit our speakers, and in the era of the blogosphere, that’s totally like an eternity. Perhaps aware of this, the gentlemen behind that record have already begun plotting their next move.
“We have a big session in January and start on the new record. Were trying to get on the ball as fast as we can because the touring has been pretty much non-stop,” revealed Wilco‘s John Stirratt in a recent interview with The National Post (via TFB).
The bassist gave no further specifics, and would not promise a 2010 release (though he did say a fall release was possible), but at the very least we know Wilco has something else planned aside from a ton of touring and an appearance at the Olympics. (Click here for example.)
