Anytime the prolific alternative rock band known as Yo La Tengo goes on tour, it is a be a pretty big deal. So, I guess the following news is a pretty big deal: The New Jersey three-piece, currently on tour in Europe and Asia, has announced plans to return home early next year in support of its recently released 12th album, Popular Songs. In case you forgot, the album, released in September, stands out as the band’s most successful release yet, peaking at #58 on the Billboard album chart.
The US tour commences on January 22nd in Pontiac, Michigan and currently runs through the end of the month. After that, it is on to Australia for a month worth of dates. Find Yo La Tengo’s complete upcoming itinerary below.
