Norah Jones is going places in 2010

Leave it to Norah Jones to sketch out one epic tour. What begins in March, and in Oklahoma of all places, ends in Atlanta come May. It’s going to be a long winter and spring for the folk singer, but if her latest record — this year’s The Fall — is any indication of her success, she won’t be alone.

And she’s picked quite the venues, too. With mostly theaters and opera halls booked, fans will enjoy intimate nights with the rather sultry singer. Although, judging from her itinerary, it looks like she won’t be making any “surprise” appearances at SXSW. Bummer.

If her recent album weren’t enough already, remixes off the record will be hitting the web over the next few days. Starting today, RCRD LBL will host the download of Adrock and Mike D’s remix of “That’s What I Said (The NYC Remix), while Stereogum will handle Santigold and Snotty’s remix of “Chasing Pirates” for Wednesday (12/2), and Artist Direct will unleash the Droogs Remix (a collective that sports the likes of Beck) of the same song for a Thursday (12/3) online treat.
