Following yesterday’s news that Arcade Fire would be releasing its third studio album in early 2010, NME is now reporting that fans will have to wait a bit longer. According to the band’s spokesperson, there is “no scheduled release date” for the album and no live shows are booked. They went on to note that they yet-to-be-titled affair would be “out at some point in 2010, more likely to be the second half”. We’ll find out for sure soon enough.
