Green Day, Dave Matthews, and Lady Gaga tapped as Grammys live entertainment

If you’ve been paying any attention to the news surrounding this year’s 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, then you’re probably not all that impressed thus far. Well, neither were we; especially when they announced the first batch of performers, including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, the Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, and Lady Antebellum to name a few. That being said with the addition of a couple of hard rock n’ rollers, this year’s Grammy Awards might just be worth watching.

Drum roll please…and the latest batch of confirmed artists include Green Day, Dave Matthews Band, and the all too prominent show girl, Lady Gaga. Yep, that’s right can you imagine what the Grammy’s would be like without pussycat Gaga and her wild Monster Ball/wardrobe? Let’s just say we’ll leave that up for you to decide.

A few other notable additions are Pink and the Zac Brown Band, but overall none of these names seem too surprising especially considering DMB got handed the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute to Neil Young during Grammy weekend. With DMB and Gaga on the map, this year we’ll be seeing performances from not one, but all five of the artists nominated for Album of the Year (can’t forget Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and the Black Eyed Peas now can we?). Sheesh, well at least we’re getting that Michael Jackson tribute, right?
