Once again, So Cal’s progressive/psychedelic rock quartet RX Bandits will load up the tour bus and hit the road in support of 2009’s Mandala. Starting next month, the band will kick things off by joining the massive traveling Soundwave Festival in Australia alongside artists such as Jane’s Addiction, My Chemical Romance, and Faith No More. Then in March, the Bandits will return to the states for a slew of shows through the end April with varying specials guests. And, as we learned yesterday, an appearance at Coachella is included in these plans.
Mandala showcases RX Bandits at their very best, exemplifying their decade-long musical transformation into a wondrous, multi-faceted four piece band. If you somehow missed Mandala last year, do yourself a favor and listen to this stream of the full album available only on the band’s website. And after you browse through their hefty list of tour dates below, don’t fret it just yet if you’re living in Europe. RX Bandits are planning to release some European and UK dates sometime soon for the months of May/June.
