Weve always been one of the most diverse lineups, but you know, weve been one of the very best values,” Wakarusa Music Festival co-founder Brett Mosiman noted in a recent interview with us. Today, the Ozark, Arkansas based music festival sought to live up these words by revealing the rather eclectic initial announcement for its 2010 lineup.
Instrumental rockers STS9, trance band The Disco Biscuits, the reggae dub outfit Slightly Stoopid, and the legendary blues rock group Blues Traveler highlight the confirmed list of acts scheduled to perform the seventh incarnation of the festival, set to take place from June 3-6 at Mulberry Mountain.
Other acts of note include John Butler Trio, Bassnectar, Black Joe Lewis, Railroad Earth, Dweezil Zappa, JJ Grey & MOFRO, Lotus, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers, The Machine performing the music of Pink Floyd, and the String Cheese Incident off-shoot EOTO.
