The White Stripes’ documentary Under Great White Northern Lights will receive its U.S. premiere at South by Southwest 2010, the festival announced today. The film, which documents Jack and Meg’s memorable 2007 cross-Canadian tour, will be featured during the film portion of the Austin, TX extravaganza, set to take place from March 12-20. Exact specifics have not yet been revealed, but we can tell you a badge will be required.
As previously reported, the film will also be released as a limited edition boxset on March 16th. Incredibly, copies are still available for purchase. So, if you don’t like to fly, go grab one.
