I don’t know what’s worse… the fact that “Shoes, the full version“ is the recommended YouTube video after watching this or hearing three full minutes about a love rocket from a guy in a mullet, aviators, and a space suit. Either way, it’s almost too bad I have to tell you about this because it’s definitely something you must see for yourself.
I’m almost embarrassed to go on.
We get to start off with a Zlad “downcount” into a trippy introduction of mullet-man and his pink-haired sidekick on a stage with some 80’s-style keyboard space sound effects and a bad green screen.
I’m so glad “arriving on to the future” means we all get to have mullets or pink hair, sweet dance moves, sun glasses and are invited to climb on Zlad’s “love rocket.” Better prepare for the offblast. Don’t worry. His tank of fuel is not fuel, but love.
What the hell is this?
Well obviously Zlad is from Molvania: A land untouched by modern dentistry. Molvania was allied by Nazi Germany, then occupied by a Communist puppet government and later became a dictatorship run by a corrupt government with heavy ties to the Mafia… (I’m not joking. Wikipedia says so).
But really… Molvania is a collection of Eastern Eurpopean stereotypes created by three Australians (probably on LSD). Along with this music video there’s a book, a few Web sites and apparently a cult following. Oh, and if you must…there’s a Facebook group you can join.
But we doesn’t has much time, so I’m leaving it up to you to watch. Ladies and gentlemen… fasten your beltseats.
