The little college music festival that could continues to get better and better. Following up a 2009 lineup that featured The Flaming Lips, Okkervil River, and N.E.R.D., Vanderbilt University has tapped Drake, Ben Harper & Relentless7, Phoenix, Passion Pit, Cold War Kids, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Doug E. Fresh for its 2010 rendition of the Rites of Spring music festival. Set to take place from April 23-24, this year’s festivities will also include JJ Grey & Mofro, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Two Door Cinema Club, and The New Mastersounds.
Tickets for the festival, which is open to the pubic, will go on sale Monday, February 22nd, 2010 at 10 am CST. Find more info on the festival’s website.
