Out of Silver Lake, CA comes news of Dangerbird Records’ latest signing, Minus The Bear. “As music fans, we’ve adored Minus the Bear for years, so we’re honored to be in business with them,” proclaims Jeff Castelaz, co-founder and CEO of Dangerbird.
The feeling is mutual for the band. “After months of looking under rocks and in dark caves, we’ve found a nice place to nest with Dangerbird Records,” explains bassist Cory Murchy. “They are a label of artists for artists and we are very excited to work with their creative minds to continue to bring you quality craftsmanship and the very best we can provide for our fans, both old and the newly educated.”
Last October Minus The Bear released “Into The Mirror”, the first single off its upcoming fourth LP. The album is now slated for a release this Spring.
Minus The Bear joins Dangerbird’s already impressive roster including artists like Silversun Pickups, Sea Wolf, Darker My Love, The Dears, Dappled Cities and the also recently signed Glasgow duo, Codeine Velvet Club.
