Living up to its Novemeber proclamation, The String Cheese Incident will indeed followup its 2009 reunion at the Rothbury Music Festival with a limited run of tour dates this summer. So far, per Jambands.com, the Colorado jam band has announced a three-night stint Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre this July — the site of the band’s final shows — from July 23-25. What’s more, the band will host a four-day, multi-band festival at North Plains, OR’s Horning’s Hideout from July 29-August 1. Rothbury production company Madison House will curate the event.

“In 2010, look for SCI to continue to think out-of-the-box about their musical journey — hosting special events instead of the typical tour-routing, exploring new ways of releasing new recordings, and building on their reputation as innovators of fan participation,” the band explained of its upcoming plans.

Tickets for both the Red Rock shows and the Horning’s Hideout festival will go on sale starting next week. Click here for complete details.
