Wale and K’Naan combine forces for nine date spring tour

There’s the old saying regarding the immovable object and the irresistible force. For our sake, those parts will be played by one of Washington, DC’s most beloved MCs, Wale, and Somali-Canadian poet/rapper K’Naan. Plus, it’s not their first project together; the two MCs previously worked together on a few tracks from Wale’s mixtape Back To The Feature.

Nowadays, Wale’s got Attention Deficit and a slew of festival dates coming up, including Coachella, Sasquatch, and Bamboozle. K’Naan’s playing the Olympics later this month and he’s still going to be featured as the anthem for the FIFA World Cup. So, when you combine these two forces of nature, you’re in for one banging spring tour of epic proportions.

The tour kicks off March 31st in New York City, hits up most of the East Coast before dipping south and into the Midwest, before coming to a close on April 14th in Columbus, OH. Former Fugees collaborator John Forté will be opening. You can also catch K’Naan playing a few solo gigs in the middle of the tour.
