Flight Of The Conchords still around, touring UK & Ireland this May

Good news! Just because their TV series is over doesn’t mean that Flight Of The Conchords are slowing down. As announced today, the duo of Jemaine Clement and and Bret McKenzie are heading on a tour of UK and Ireland this Spring.

The band’s latest leg will start off with two dates in Dublin on May 5th and 6th. After a few more shows in England and Scotland, the UK tour will cap off with couple of dates in London on May 16th and 17th. It will be book-ended by a few concerts in mainland Europe, specifically the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden.

Both opening acts of the UK tour are veterans of the duo’s two-season HBO series. Kristen Schaal, who plays superfan Mel, will provide support in Dublin, Birmingham and Manchester, while Arj Barker, who plays the band’s friend Dave, will open the show in London. No word on Glasgow’s or Europe’s openers as of yet. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 5th, at 9 am GMT.
