Back in 2009, legendary punk rockers Kraut reunited after more than 20 years for a few shows in their hometown of New York City. Looking to keep the fun going a bit longer,  the band has announced plans for one more performance, set to take place at Cake Shop in Manhattan on March 27th.

After making their debut in 1981 with the ultimate support gig, opening for The Clash at Bonds, Kraut remained int the public eye for the next five years, recording several studio albums and touring across the country. Their last full-length, Night of Rage LP came in 1986, around the same time guitarist Doug Holland left to join hardcore punk band Cro-Mags. The reunited lineup will see Holland return to the band with fellow founding members Davy Gunner (vocals), Don Cowan (bass), and Johnny Feedback (drums).

Joining Kraut for their New York show will be The Krays, YDI, Everyday Dollars, Step 2 Far, and About To Break. Doors open at 6 pm with tickets priced at an easy $10. Basically, if you’re a punk fan in New York, there’s no reason to not be at this show. For a preview, please see vintage video evidence below.
