Hold on to your thick-rimmed glasses, kiddos, because we’ve got a full week of all new musical guests. The Olympics are over and there’s not a single rerun–not even from Carson Daly. And that’s not the only miracle gracing your TV this week: we have two resurrections. Back from the dead are Leno as host of The Tonight Show and Avril Lavigne, who I thought evaporated as Hot Topic’s popularity faded.
But the bigger thrill is that we have some great acts to watch. It may be 2010, but we’re still not over Phoenix or Fanfarlo (both on Carson). And Erykah Badu is cooler than everyone else in the world, so we’re thrilled to see her on Fallon.
