The ongoing collaboration between rapper Nas and reggae artist Damian Marley seriously does keep getting and better. In addition to the May 18th release of their joint album Distant Relatives, the musicians have also announced plans for a lengthy summer tour.
In addition to previously announced appearances at Bonnaroo, Sunfest, and the Gathering of the Vibes, Nas and Marley will visit cities across the U.S. and Europe between the months of June and August. A trip through the western and southern portion of the U.S. will kick things off before the duo heads to Europe for a leg heavy in festival appearance. Their travels will then come to a conclusion with a performance in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg Waterfront before capping it all off at Gathering of the Vibes.
Tickets for the upcoming dates will go on sale starting Saturday, April 3rd via Ticketmaster.com. We should also note the album artwork for Distant Relatives was also recently revealed.
