After attractive over 26,000 to its inaugural edition last summer, New York’s Electric Zoo will look to do one better when it returns to Randalls Island Park this Labor Day Weekend (Sep. 4-5). And, based on the recently announced initial lineup, we’re ready to conclude they won’t have much problem doing so.
The Chemical Brothers, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Benny Benassi, Above & Beyond, ATB, John Digweed, and Fedde Le Grand are the first confirmed names for the 2010 rendition of Electric Zoo. When it’s all said and done, over 50 acts will fill the bill, bringing the finest in techno, trance, house, and indie dance music across multiple stages.
If all this is already enough to warrant your attendance, you can now purchase early bird tickets, priced at $107.00, on musictoday.com. We’ll update the Festival Outlook when more names are added to the bill so be sure to keep an eye on that.
