Now a staple in the summer festival circuit, the Denver based Mile High Music Festival will return for its third edition this summer, though the festivities will begin a little later than usual.
This year’s Mile High is set to take place from August 14-15, nearly a month later than the two previous incarnations of the festival. Yet the change seems to have allowed the two-day to round together its biggest bill to date, as the likes of Jack Johnson, My Morning Jacket, Phoenix, Weezer, the legendary Jimmy Cliff, and Mile High’s first ever headliner, Dave Matthews Band, will head this year’s edition.
Other acts of note include Steve Miller Band, Drive-By Truckers, Bassnectar, Train, Atmosphere, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, Ozomatli, Railroad Earth, DJ Z-Trip, Keller Williams, and Rusted Root.
In all, more than 40 bands will take to the fields surrounding Dick’s Sporting Goods Park during the August weekend. Additional acts will be announced in the weeks ahead; you can find an up-to-date listing of confirmed acts here.
Two-day passes, currently priced at $150 (they will raise to $175 and then $200 as allotments sell out), will go on sale starting Saturday, April 10th via Tickethorse.com.
