Ok, so yesterday we spent most of our workday trying to solve the word puzzle of all word puzzles, one which, when completed, would reveal who will be making up Lollapalooza‘s 2010 bill. Yesterday, we were given only the letter “o” as a hint, which led us to believe that acts like Gogol Bordello, The New Pornographers, The National, Spoon, and Fuck Buttons would be playing. Then, using our ability to count, we concluded names like Yeasayer, The Black Keys, MGMT, and David Byrne would be on the bill, too.
Well, it turns out we were both right and wrong. Today, Lollapalooza has given us an additional hint — the letter “r” — and as you’ll see below, it eliminates our guesses/hopes for Byrne (Jimmy Cliff, instead?), White Rabbits, Nada Surf, and The Antlers. Fortunately, acts like Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear, Chromeo, and Drive-By Truckers appear to be locks.
So, now, we open it back up to you for another day of guesses, comments, and thoughts.
