Lilith Fair adds Rihanna, announces entire itinerary

Well, at this point, I’m pretty sure no one can argue that Lilith Fair didn’t return after a decade-long hiatus without one hell of a bang. In addition to a previously announced bill that included the likes of Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige, Sarah McLachlan, Erykah Badu, Cat Power, Metric, Norah Jones, Tegan & Sara, and Emmylou Harris among others, today, organizers announced the addition of none other than Rihanna. The pop superstar will appear at the festival’s Salt Lake City, UT stop on April July 12th.

Speaking of stops, Lilith Fair has revealed its complete touring schedule. The two-month extravaganza will kick off on June 27th in Calagary and hits most if not all of North America before wrapping up on August 16th in Dallas, TX. There will be 11 artists on each date, with only two consistencies per show: the Lilith Local Talent Search Ourstage.com winner who starts the day and headliner Sarah McLachlan. You can figure out who plays where by visiting the festival’s website.

Tickets are already on sale for many markets, with the remaining dates going on-sale beginning Saturday, April 17 via Ticketmaster.com. A limited number of Ladies Night 4-Pack ticket packages will be offered for $99* that includes 4 lawn tickets to participating venues, while supplies last.
