Los Angeles’ own Best Coast charmed everyone down at Austin during SXSW, they continue to do so on tour. Even without a debut album, they’ve managed to generate enough buzz to rack up festival requests and be the “It” band on everyone’s radar. It must be everyone affection to cute girls and balmy distortion. Or, the fact that they write the most simplistic music since The Sex Pistols yet it’s still delicious… enough for seconds and thirds and fourths and fifths.

Now they have a new video.

As you would have guessed, it’s for hot single “When I’m With You” and just like the song, it’s sunny, sharp, and highly addictive. In the clip, Bethany Cosentino enjoys a happy-go-lucky day throughout the wasteland that is Los Angeles. She’s not alone, though. She’s brought her clown friend along and the two experience it all together. It’s cute. It’s almost kitsch. Oddly enough, you kind of get a little envious of Bozo’s position. But that’s another ballpark, altogether.

Moot point, but where’s the friggin’ album? Need. Now.
