So that Bono back injury had repercussions beyond U2’s canceled North American tour and Glastonbury headlining spot. It also means that Interpol will be postponing several headlining shows originally built around its opening stint for U2.
With the exception of stops in Rochester, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Allentown, Interpol has postponed all North American dates on its upcoming tour itinerary. “We lament the change in plans, apologize for the inconvenience, and assure you that we’ll do you right – when the time is right and the light is nice,” the band noted on its official website.
