Intrigued by yesterday’s review of the new Mogwai concert film Burning? Then you’ll probably want to pay close attention. The Scottish outfit will officially release the Vincent Moon and Nathanael Le Scouarnac-directed film, which was shot at the band’s sold-out three-night residency at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg in April 2009, on June 24th. As an added bonus, the release will come packaged with Special Moves, an 11-track live album. (You can grab the live cut of “New Paths to Helicon Pt. 1” here).
