As we have learned from Muse, some times songs on soundtracks suck. But as now forthcoming True Blood soundtrack proves, some times songs on soundtrack are good, Beck and M. Ward’s respective contributions especially. The former is dirty, gritty, and Dead Weather-esque, while the latter is a stripped down, throwback of sorts. And while both have vampire components — they’re titled “Howlin For My Baby” and “Bad Blood” after all — both are worthwhile listens.
You can stream the entire True Blood soundtrack over at the Music Mix.
