Watch: Springsteen, Gaga, Sting, Elton John cover Journey

How’s this for a collective? Last night the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Sting, Elton John, Debbie Harry, and Shirely Basey took to New York’s Carnegie Hall for a concert benefiting the Rain Forest. And, as the below video illustrates, at some point during the evening all six stars got together for a group sing-a-long. I’m not sure whose idea it was to cover the Journey classic “Don’t Stop Believin'”, or to have near-nude dancers show up about 3/4 of the way through, but it only adds to the spectacle of the performance. I mean, we have music’s biggest stars, spanning four generations, performing a bar anthem while being backed by near-nude dancers. How often do you see that?

Watch the performance below. The New York Daily News has a complete recap of the evening’s festivities.
