Devo announces North American tour dates

So, imagine you’re Devo. You’ve announced the details of your forthcoming album, Something For Everybody, your first record in 20 some odd years. Fans and critics and industry people alike are ecstatic for the album’s June 15th release date. How do you cap off an amazing few months, all while furthering the crazy levels of hype of things to come? How about a North American tour?! Yeah, that’ll do.

There’s only a few tour dates right now, but those dates are certainly worth mentioning. Kicking things off on June 5th, the group have a gig at KROQ’s Weenie Roast. Then, there’s a few dates in Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Ann Arbor, and Pittsburgh before stops at Forecastle Festival and the Osheaga Music & Arts Festival. And the biggest shows of all: the Ohio State Fair and the Arizona Fall Frenzy. Also, they’re playing at something called Lollapalooza, too.

Something For Everybody is out June 15th via Warner Bros. Records. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com. Stay tuned for more album and tour news while you’re at it.
