We’re hoping the interview with Jukebox The Ghost got you nice and excited. But that should be just the beginning of your geekish giddiness. Now, less than a month later, the Washington-born trio’s new album has been given a spiffy new title and a release date. So, JTG fans, mark it on your calendars: September 7th is the day for Everything Under The Sun.
Not only do we get all that, but a video announcement gave us a sample of one of the album’s tracks, “Empire”. Do your best to take in the perfect road trip track, which is fitting because of the shots of the band both on stage and making its way through some pretty impressive landscapes. It’s a song with as much pop and bubbliness as any of their other songs, but with some kind of arena rock spin worthy of a Rush concert. It’s a promising start for things to come.
Everything Under the Sun is out September 7th. Stay tuned for a tracklist, cover art, and any other album news. Check out the band on tour with Free Energy and Steel Train now. Plus, a Lollapalooza gig on August. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com.
