Even amidst her still ongoing quarrel with the New York Times and co., M.I.A. has still found time to further detail her forthcoming, Google-hating, “Born Free”-featuring third studio album ///Y/. Today, the controversial singer/songwriter unveiled its artwork and, as you can see to your right, it looks to be a cross between a screenshot of a frozen computer screen and the result of a 2nd grader using Microsoft Paint.
///Y/ is due for release on June 22nd via M.I.A.’s personal imprint N.E.E.T. And yes, I have managed to go this entire time without making a joke about truffle fries. Gold star!
