Sleater-Kinney’s Corin Tucker details solo debut

As previously reported, Sleater-Kinney frontwoman Corin Tucker has been working on his first ever solo album at Little Golden Book Studio in Northeast Portland with Seth Lorinczi (The Golden Bears, The Quails), who is handling production and arrangements, as well as playing bass, keys, percussion and Sara Lund (Hungry Ghost, Unwound) on drums.

On October 5th, Corin will unveil the finished product when she drops the still untitled effort via Kill Rock Stars. Details remain at a minimum, but the singer/songwriter previously described the effort as “definitely more of a middle-aged mom record and noted, “I think the goal for me is to write some good stories.”

Corin will support the release with a brief trip down the west coast this October. Find those dates below and, as always, we’ll let you know when more details become available.
