It looks as if all is right again on The Flaming Lips front. Following a month worth of canceled tour dates due to hospitalization of guitarist Steven Drozd, the band is set to return this weekend at the Houston based Free Press Summer Fest. What’s more, not only have the Lips rescheduled those postponed Florida dates, but they’ve also added a few new Canadian ones as well.
The new dates appear on both ends of the Lips’ October 10th appearance at the Austin City Limits festival. Four Canadian dates are scheduled for late September, while the rescheduled three Florida dates will launch on October 13th in St. Petersburg. Tickets for all the dates are now available via Ticketmaster.com. Note: Already purchased tickets for the Florida shows will be honored for rescheduled shows. So you just have to show up.
