With the deadline for his Recovery approaching, Eminem is ramping it up on the publicity front, today unveiling a music video for the album’s first single, “Not Afraid”. Much like the song itself, the clip focuses on the rapper’s self-reflection as he attempts to break through a life of addiction. All sorts of metaphors are present, ranging from broken mirrors to a free-fall through the clouds, and ultimately, the video proves to be one of Eminem’s most sincere and real efforts to date. And based on the last batch of new music he presented, that’s a refreshing thought to say the least.
