Blonde Redhead promised more tour dates in support of their forthcoming album Penny Sparkle and here they are. Following a July 24th appearance at Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party and an already announced European trek in September, the New York trio will return stateside in October.
The month-plus long affair will launch on October 16th in Monteal and, in the days that follow, will take the band across much of the United States mid-west. By the end of October, Blonde Redhead will make its way up the east coast, stopping in Washington, Boston, and New York along the way. After a brief pause, the outfit will begin the west coast portion of its travels on November 14th in San Diego. The fun runs up and down the coast before ultimately heading into Texas for three dates.
German electronic producer Pantha du Prince has been tapped to serve as the tour’s opener.
