It goes without saying that Axl Rose has never gone by the book, but this might be one for the ages.
Gun N’ Roses, the legendary rock outfit that has sold more than 110 million albums worldwide, will deliver its first US performance in four long years this August 13th in — drum roll — Sturgis, South Dakota.
The performance will be part of this year’s Rock ‘N Rev Music Festival, which see Axl and Co. appearing alongside the likes of Alice in Chains, Creed, Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots, and Wolfmother. Guns ‘N Roses will headline the Friday night final night of the festival.
The Rock ‘N Rev appearance will reportedly mark Guns N’ Roses only US show of 2010. Currently, they are scheduled to tour Europe through the fall.
Tickets for Rock ‘N Rev, which takes place from August 9-13 at Monkey Rock, are currently available. Single day tickets cost $45.00, while five-day passes can be had for $150.00. VIP packages are also available.
