With a new album out on a new label, Hot Hot Heat has lit a fire under its ass and will be taking the world by storm this August and September (okay, no more of that elementary elemental wordplay). The Victoria, British Columbia pop-rock band recently completed its Los Angeles residency today and will take July off before starting up the lengthy North American tour in mid-August.
HHH will begin the tour close to home in the Pacific Northwest, with an August 17th gig in Portland. From there, the band will head down the coast on the way to Las Vegas and Arizona dates and then east through Texas before finishing up the month in Atlanta. September will see Steve Bays and co. engaged in travels along the east coast — Philly, Baltimore, and New York included — and through the Midwest. They have six dates scheduled in the Heartland, along with shows in Denver and Salt Lake City, before wrapping it up back in the Northwest. The last currently scheduled date is a hometown gig at the Rifflandia Festival on September 23rd.
The full tour dates are at the bottom and you can pick up your tickets, starting today, at Ticketmaster.
Because we are that damn good, we’ll provide you with a sample of HHH’s new “complicated party album” Future Breeds in the form of the video for single “21@12” below, along with a link to stream another track called “Goddess on the Prairie”. And if you’re not down with that, we have two words for you: download it.
