Interpol has added a new batch of dates to its coming itinerary, filling the gaps on either side of its already announced appearance at the New Orleans based Voodoo Experience this coming Halloween weekend.
In support of the September 7th release of its self-titled fourth studio album, the band will hit locations left off the first leg of its North American tour — namely the west coast, Texas, Philadelphia, and New York City. The endeavor will launch on October 18th in Oakland and runs through early November, culminating with a stop at NYC’s United Palace Theater on November 5th. Interpol will further support its new album’s release by performing the track “Barricade” on The Late Show with David Letterman this Thursday, July 27th. We’ll, of course, have video of the performance the morning after.
Also, the band is now accepting pre-orders for the album on iTunes. As an added bonus, those who buy early will receive an instant download of the aforementioned “Barricade” as well as a free download of iTunes-only bonus track titled “Crimewaves”.
