Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan announce debut North American tour

I’m sure most of you have put together your All-Pro bands, teaming up superstars into one awesome group. Yeah, we’ve all done it. It’s probable that a few people even picked Mark Lanegan as their front man. But how many would team the growling singer with Isobel Campbell, the classically trained cellist and former member of acclaimed indie-popsters Belle & Sebastian? None I would bet. Well, after two critically acclaimed albums, the duo are back with a guest-heavy third album. Hawk will be released in the US on August 24th, as previously reported right here.

To celebrate the release of their new album, the duo have released details of their debut North American tour. They kick it all off on October 13th in Cambridge, MA, and wind things up with a pair of dates in California at the end of October. Sandwiched in between are stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, Montreal, Toronto, and Seattle among others.

Be sure to head on over to to pick up tickets for these dates.
