Turns out that as busy as he already is, Neil Young has only just begun. According to RollingStone.com, Young is also hard at work on his new album, having reached the final stages of the mixing process. You young rock stars ought to be ashamed of yourselves
As per the norm for recent Young releases, the album was recorded only during a full moon, with this particular nameless effort pounded out “over just nine days during three separate full-moon cycles earlier this year.” As for the sound, producer Daniel Lanois said other than a few solo acoustic tracks, “..the rest is very electric. There’s no band, but I got in there with my sonics. There’s nothing else out there like it.”
As always, stay tuned for more details as they’re announced.
