New Kid Cudi album further delayed, drops new song to make up for it

There’s a point where sarcasm loses its steam and devolves into straight up frustration. Case in point, via Rap-Up.com, for the second time in a week, Kid Cudi‘s new album, Man on the Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager, has been pushed back to October 26th. Ay dios mio.

But as Cudi taketh, so does Cudi giveth. On top of the previously dropped first single “REVOFEV” and the collaboration with Kanye West, via Hypetrak.com, we get a new track in the form of “Mojo So Dope”. Despite the Austin Powers-esque title, the track itself is right where Cudi shines: a simplistic back beating beat, undoubtedly a sample stripped to its core, with plenty of emotional depth to go along with a huge helping of uber cocky swagger. How’s that for evolution?

As always, stay tuned for more details and the inevitable third release date change. Man on the Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager is due out Ocotber 26th via G.O.O.D. Music.
