Scissor Sisters know how to tour, and they know how to put on a party. Off the success of their latest album Night Work, the band will be doing just that with a newly-announced late-summer North American tour.
After finishing up their current festival tour which includes fests in Europe, Australia, and Japan, Scissor Sisters will kick things off on August 21st in Atlanta. The tour’s East Coast leg will include a hometown show at New York City’s Terminal 5 as well as couple of Canadian dates. Scissor Sisters will then graze the Midwest on the way to a comprehensive West Coast leg, which includes shows in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
The tour’s opener will be the band’s trusted DJ friend Sammy Jo. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 9th on Ticketmaster. Other tickets, including those for the previously-announced U.K. arena tour in December, can be had on www.scissorsisters.com.
