Shocker! Kid Cudi pushes back Man On the Moon 2

Hip-hop album delays are basically a requirement these days, so Kid Cudi‘s forthcoming Man on the Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager was never actually going to arrive on its original September 14th release date. That inevitable push back was further realized after fellow MC, friend, and collaborator Kanye West chose that same September Tuesday for the release his own new studio album. You didn’t honestly think GOOD Music Day was real did, you? Especially with Kanye West and Kanye West’s ego involved?

With that in mind, I’m here to tell you the most unsurprising news of the year: Kid Cudi has pushed back the release of his second full-length by two weeks. Man on the Moon 2 is now due for release on September 28th, which happens to be the same day both Young Jeezy and T.I. are expected to share new albums as well. So expect another one of these posts in a couple of weeks.

Whenever it does arrive, Man on the Moon 2 will be distributed by GOOD Music. For an early preview, check out the already released, West featuring track “Erase Me”.
