In the six weeks since its debut album Drink the Sea was released, The Glitch Mob has been selling out gigs in places including New York, Chicago, and Boston. The California glitch-hop trio is showing no signs of slowing down, as it embarks on a world tour this month which lasts until October.
The band recently kicked off its worldwide road trip with a short trek through Europe. Set to run until July 18th, the rest of the leg consists mostly of U.K. dates, save for one in Denmark and one in Belgium. After a month-long break, The Glitch Mob will then return to the States for their longest leg of the summer/fall tour.
The U.S. portion of the trek begins with a show in Minneapolis August 20th, and the band plays several more Midwest dates, including its first-ever Nebraska show, in the ensuing week. The Glitch Mob travels south and ends up in Florida at August’s end, starting up the East Coast in September. After a thorough coastal trip featuring an appearance at Electric Zoo Festival, the band tails it back to the Midwest. The last U.S. date is September 16th in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The following week, The Glitch Mob makes its way to Australia for five dates to wrap up the world tour.
