Truth be told, The Vaselines haven’t had this good of an excuse to hit the road in two decades. Of course, I’m talking about the band’s forthcoming sophomore LP Sex With An X, which, as previously reported, will serve as the long overdue follow to the band’s 1980 self-titled debut.
Anyhow, following an already announced September tour of the UK, the Scottish product will make their way stateside starting October 2nd in Washington, DC. The North American trek consists of a month worth of dates and includes stops with LA indie duo Dum Dum Girls and fellow Scottish outfits Belle & Sebastian and Teenage Fan Club along the way.
A complete list of upcoming tour dates can be found below and tickets will be available starting Friday, July 16th via Ticketmaster.com. The aforementioned Sex With An X is due for release on September 14th via Sub Pop Records.
