It took a year and a back injury longer than expected, but U2 will return to North America next summer. The Irish outfit has announced all 16 U2 360° North American, which were recently postponed due to Bono’s emergency back surgery, have been rescheduled, reports Billboard.com.
The rescheduled leg is set to launch on May 21st, 2011 in Denver and will then see band hit various North American locations up until the last scheduled date of July 23rd in Minneapolis. We’d also be remiss not to point out the numerous gaps included in this tour, highlighted by a week long one baked between a June 7th date in Oakland and June 17th date in Anaheim. Needless to say, more dates are likely still to come. Maybe an appearance at Bonnaroo 2011, too?
All tickets for the postponed 2010 dates will be valid at the rescheduled 2011 dates. On sale information for the remaining tickets has not yet been released.
