It might still be hard to pause The Suburbs for any significant length of time, but if you think you can hold off for 15 minutes or so, now’s a good opportunity to try. In addition to the full tracklist for upcoming album Penny Sparkle, we now have a couple of new Blonde Redhead songs for your ears, thanks to TwentyFourBit.
These new tracks, in addition to the previously released single “Here Sometimes”, make up the first three songs of the 10-song album, which arrives September 14th on 4AD. “Not Getting There” is a short but sweet synth-filled ballad, while “There Will Be Stars”, which the band performed live in NYC earlier this week, is vintage Blonde Redhead.
As for the tracklist, you can bet the band is still dark and dreamy. It features downer song titles like “Love or Poison”, “Everything is Wrong”, and “My Plants Are Dead” (must be a funny story behind that one). Check out the full tracklist right below these streams.
