It’s been two and a half years since Does It Offend You, Yeah?‘s full-length debut You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into first rocked our iPods. (iPads hand’t been invented yet!). Since then, they’ve toured with the likes of Bloc Party and Nine Inch Nails and played just about every music festival known to man. That doesn’t leave much time to write a new album, which explains why it took the English electronic rock outfit two years to finish their sophomore studio effort. That process is now just about done though, as the band notes “all we’ve got to do now is wait on a few sample clearances and go to mastering.”
In fact, to prove it, Does It Offend You, Yeah? has revealed the first track off the forthcoming Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You, an electrifying banger called “We Are The Dead”, which the band says has been through more rewrites than Ghostbusters 3. It was worth it though, guys. So props for the extra effort.
